You Will Know Our Names 8. Alcamoth, Imperial Capital 9. Like Gaur Plain sounds so much better, Even if the original Engage the Enemy was always a much better song. There are plenty of live instruments in the original soundtrack but I think a lot of the tracks with them had synths mixed in.
If you mean fully orchestrated then yeah, I don't think many of the tracks were. Yeah there were some cases of live instruments, but this case is definitely full orchestration. Its absolutely not just remix the original soundtrack. I couldn't disagree more. The vocals in the new arrangements for Engage the Enemy was probably the best part. It was so freaking good! In fact, the new orchestrated soundtrack sounds divine, especially the new track for the Future Connections epilogue.
I personally feel that you and Ben are far too harsh. Your nostolgia glasses are clouding from enjoying the orchestrated music. It's literally part of my username. But I really do think people are stuck in the past and aren't giving this remake a fair shake. This was all there was going to be, this was going to be it. And then, this asshole, the Man Man, made a whole fuckin' album and most of them was like shitty volume all the way turned up bullshit, there were a couple good mashups but, and that basically inspiralled me into turning it into a downward hill.
And basically, for a long long time it was basically just me and him and a couple of other people that thought it was funny. And mos—and mostly, mostly it was just me and him. And then, um, if some famous people did it they did it as a joke, it was "this is shitty, why would you bother", and those are the same people that are running SilviaGunner, or Yeah, it's SilviaGunner now, not GilviaSunner.
Anyway, so, those same people would totally mercifully wreck the shit out of how unfunny it was. And this is, um, this is recording of a comment I, I had for reasons, I It's used in some battles, at least till it ends and a new song replaces it.
So I would assume it's considered battle music. I'll change both to be safe The remastered version is a huge downgrade in basically every way. So I went in thinking, "why did they try to improve perfection? Overall the remasters are fine aside from EtE, thus far. But none really stand out as being so clearly better that I hesitate to switch back to the old music, either.
The one used in game is the original song not the remake. Apollo 1 year ago Most of it is fine, but that warbling screech at the apex of the song is awful. The vocals definitely stand out and I flip-flop between whether they do so in a good or bad way. TheXReturns 1 year ago My only annoyance with the remastered track is in the vibrato, but more because it doesn't step down, or tail off alongside the rest of the music, for some bizarre reason.
Not really sure why, but it is a mild annoyance to hear everything just slightly jolt out of place. I do kinda wish the original vocals were a tiny bit louder though, which this rectifies though, so swings and roundabouts.
I think people give the rest of the OST a bad rep though.
